Tournament of Champions

The Tournament of Champions was unveiled in 1953 in Las Vegas to showcase the PGA Tour’s best players.

The tournament is still ongoing and is now centered in Maui the first week of January each year.

If you’re a champion, you’ve played in this event and if you’ve won the ToC (now The Sentry), you started off your year on a bright note.
After all, beating a star-studded field and playing in places like Vegas and Maui is great for the ego and the pocketbook.
